Developing a New Form of Walking as Art Practice
The Postcards
During the summer of 2021 I walked from John O’Groats to Lands End.
Part investigation into extended walking as art practice, part collaborative pseudo-artists residency, I invited artists (and some non-artists) to join me along the way. All had an interest in walking, the landscape or both.
As part of an initial response to this experience, I asked 7 of those if they would consider contributing a postcard sized artwork as a response to their experience with me.
